Confortleltex foam

BUROV is one of the rare manufacturers in Europe and the only one in France, to produce the foams of its sofas and to mold them to the shape of its seating. BUROV developped, in 1969, the polyurethane foam molded under cold conditions patented under the name Confortleltex. The foam BUROV is always made in the exact shape of the seat, by injection in wooden mold made to measure. BUROV offers 3 types of molded foam : The flexible foams for backrests, seats and armrests cushions ; Semi rigid foams used primarily for front and back constructions, and some armrests ; The high-density foams used in particular for making the structure of some of our armchairs and sofas (for instance, the iconic Chair n°44, Saturn). For flexible foams, one may wish to vary the level of comfort : soft comfort, standard comfort, firm comfort.

The foams are manufactured specifically for each model

The foams are manufactured specifically for each model to provide you with the guarantee that there will be no hard point, or too soft point, all over your sofa. Our BUROV foams are guaranteed for 10 years. The other main element of the comfort by BUROV results from a specific BUROV suspension system, called «Formed wire». These suspensions are unique in the world, and hand-made in Candé. They were created and patented by BUROV, from its craftsmanship experience. This incomparable suspension system provides you with an exceptional level comfort in every part of the seat. From conception to completion, each model is designed with your well-being as the main objective. For an even smoother comfort and more efficient back support, the cushions are filled with feathers and down.
